Please ensure you read all the terms & conditions as when you book, you are accepting Morvoren Retreats terms and conditions. We will not confirm your booking with you until we have received your £350 deposit and your booking form with your information.
2. Your Travel Arrangements
Travel to and from the retreat is not included in the price and must be arranged independently.
Morvoren Retreats cannot be held financially liable for any cancellations or delays in your independent travel arrangements, and you are strongly advised to take out personal travel insurance to cover any delays or cancellations.
(a) The price for the retreat is set out on the webpage for upcoming retreats.
(b)Payment is via direct bank transfer or any other method described on the webpage for the retreat or as agreed between us.
(c) A non-refundable deposit of £350 is payable when you book the retreat. The final payment is due 10 weeks before the retreat.
(d) If any payments are not paid on the due date, you may lose your place on the retreat.
4. Your Health
(a)Please make sure that you make Morvoren Retreats aware of any medical conditions or injuries that you have prior to the start of any retreats.
(b) Should you be pregnant or are planning to be pregnant at the time of the retreat, please contact us to discuss before booking.
(c) We reserve the right to stop your participation in any activity, at any time, if we conclude that you are physically, mentally, or emotionally unable to do so.
5. Travel Insurance
We do not provide travel insurance for your trip; each participant is required to have their own individual travel insurance. The insurance must cover the whole duration of the retreat and the activities that are undertaken on the retreat. The insurance must include coverage for flight delays and cancellations, baggage, medical expenses, and the cost of repatriation should it become necessary. The insurance must cover COVID-19 medical costs and full hospitalisation, doctors’ visits, prescriptions and air ambulance. We are not responsible or liable for any physical injury, loss of or damage to property or additional expenses incurred during the retreat
6. Cancellation by you
(a)· 8 weeks plus before the start of the retreat: 100% refund, minus the deposit.
· 4 to 8 weeks before the start of your retreat: 50% refund, minus the deposit.
· Up to 4 weeks before the start of your retreat: 0% refund will be given.
(b) You may cancel your retreat at any time provided that the cancellation is communicated to us in writing. Cancellation will take effect from the day that the written request is received by us. Once the retreat has commenced, no refund or part refund or unused portion of your holiday will be repaid in the event of cancellation by you.
7. Changes to the Itinerary
We may sometimes have to change the itinerary if the weather is bad, however we will always have an alternative plan. If for any reason we must change our retreat house, we will still ensure that we find a house of similar style. You will always be notified of any changes to the retreat.
8. Morvoren Retreats, liability to our Guests
We will not be liable for any failure in the performance of the retreat contract due to:
a) The fault of yourself and/or another member of your party;
b) A third party unconnected with the provision of the retreat and where failure is unforeseeable or unavoidable;
c) Unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care and been exercised;
d) An event which neither we nor our suppliers, even with all due care, could have foreseen.
9. Cancellation by us
Whilst Morvoren Retreats hope we will never have to cancel your retreat this does very occasionally happen and we reserve the right to do so. Should it be necessary to cancel your retreat we will endeavour to offer alternative travel arrangements of equivalent or similar standards. Alternatively we will provide a full and prompt refund to you.
10. Guests belongings
We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings during your stay on the retreat with us.
11. Disagreements or complaints
If there are any issues on your retreat, please inform one of the retreat team who will investigate your concern immediately.
13. Room share
If you select a room share option, then Morvoren Retreats takes no responsibility for the actions of the person/s with whom you ‘room share’. If for whatever reason you are unhappy with your ‘room share’ including but not limited to: clash of personalities; disagreements; snoring; other annoying habits etc, Morvoren Retreats cannot be held responsible.
Whilst attending our retreat, your photograph may be taken for posting at a later date on our website or social media. It is your responsibility to inform us if you do not wish to be photographed. I further waive all rights to review or approve any uses of the images, any written copy or finished product. I am of full legal age and have read and fully understand the terms of this release.
15. Third Parties
We have thoroughly researched any third-party providers we have chosen to provide goods and services to the retreat e.g. accommodation, outside catering and transport. In the event of any unforeseen circumstances, accident or event due to the actions of a third party we shall not be held liable.
(a) It is important to us that the retreat is a safe space for everyone attending and therefore we ask you to agree to always conduct yourself in a reasonable and responsible manner and not to act in a manner which may cause offence, distress, or alarm to anyone else attending the retreat or may affect the enjoyment of the retreat by another individual attending the retreat (“Other Guest”).
(b) Where we consider, in our reasonable opinion, that you are in breach of clause (a) above, then we reserve the right to withdraw your access to the retreat and any of the services. Following such action, we will arrange to speak with you to discuss the matter and to determine whether you will continue with the retreat or be asked to leave. Where you are asked to leave then our arrangement will terminate and no refund will be provided.
(c) If you become aware of any inappropriate behaviour or comments being displayed or made by any other guest at any time during the retreat then please notify us as soon as possible so that we can investigate and take appropriate action if necessary.
